G20 Unemployed Tent City Research
Rapid ethnographic study of unemployed people using observation, conversation, survey and polling techniques. Several unemployed people assembled in Pittsburgh around the G20 in September 2009 for the Jobs for All March, and stayed at a tent city organized by the Bail out the People Movement. We used this opportunity to understand the needs of those who are unemployed in today’s climate.
